This Privacy Policy explains how Hire Assistant collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data in connection with the services offered through the website and booking system. By using the site or booking services you accept the practices described in this policy.

  • Consent: when you opt in to marketing.

  • Legal compliance: to meet legal obligations.

  • Legitimate interests: for fraud prevention, service improvement, and security (balanced against your rights).

2 — Terms of Service (Full text)

Quick summary: When you book or use our service you agree to these terms: pay on time, give accurate info, treat assistants respectfully, and follow the Acceptable Use rules. We describe bookings, payments, refunds, responsibilities, and limitations of liability.

2.1 Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided via the website. By booking services or using the website, you agree to these Terms.

2.2 Services

Hire Assistant provides virtual assistant services (scheduling, email management, customer support, research, social media management, etc.), offered in predefined packages and custom engagements as described on the website. Specific deliverables and scope for each booking are confirmed at time of booking.

(Service examples and pricing listed on the site were used to tailor these Terms.)

2.3 Booking, payment & pricing

  • Booking: Bookings are made through the website booking tools. A booking is confirmed when we send a confirmation email.

  • Payment: Payments must be made as required at booking or on invoice. We accept payment via the payment methods displayed at checkout.

  • Pricing: Prices shown on the site are subject to change; confirmed bookings will be charged at the price agreed at booking.

  • Taxes: Client is responsible for any applicable taxes.

2.4 Cancellations & refunds

See our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy (Section 4). In short: cancellations made within the stated window may receive a refund or credit per that policy; no-shows or last-minute cancellations may be charged in full.

2.5 Client responsibilities

You must:

  • Provide accurate information and necessary access to systems or accounts for the assistant to perform the service.

  • Not provide sensitive credentials unless arranged under a signed agreement and secure transfer method.

  • Comply with all applicable laws and not request actions that are illegal, infringing, or violate the assistant’s rights.

2.6 Confidentiality & NDAs

We treat client information as confidential. Confidential information will not be disclosed except as necessary to provide services or as required by law. For particularly sensitive work, we can enter into a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) on request.

2.7 Intellectual property

  • Client materials: You retain ownership of your materials and data you supply.

  • Work product: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client receives a license to use deliverables produced for them.

  • Pre-existing IP: Hire Assistant retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, templates, and methodologies.

2.8 Prohibited activities / Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

  • Violate laws or third-party rights.

  • Create, distribute, or host illegal content (hate, child sexual abuse, terrorism).

  • Instruct assistants to perform hacking, surveillance, or other illicit activities.
Requests that breach these rules will be refused and may lead to termination.

2.9 Warranties & disclaimers

Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make reasonable efforts to provide skilled assistants, but we do not guarantee business outcomes, uptime, or error-free performance.

2.10 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hire Assistant’s total liability arising out of or related to these Terms is limited to the fees paid by the client for the services giving rise to the claim in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

2.11 Termination

Either party may terminate services per the agreement. Termination does not relieve the client of payment obligations for work already performed.

2.12 Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction specified in your booking contract or, if not specified, the operator’s primary place of business. Disputes will be resolved by negotiation or, if necessary, by the courts of the governing jurisdiction.

2.13 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2.14 Contact

For questions about Terms, contact the operator via the site contact form.

  • I tailored the policies for a virtual-assistant and booking site based on the homepage content (pricing/booking options) and footer details.

  • You should review these policies with your legal counsel to ensure compliance with local laws (consumer protection, tax rules, data protection like GDPR, CCPA/CPRA if applicable).

  • If you want, I can:

    • Convert these into separate HTML pages (with simple, accessible markup and a cookie banner script snippet).

    • Generate short privacy “plain-language” summaries or a checkbox text set for the booking flow.

    • Adjust cancellation windows, refund percentages, or governing-law jurisdiction language to match your business preference — tell me which specifics to use and I’ll adapt the text immediately.
